ENGINEERING AND QUALITY
Performance optimization and safety drive our Product Engineers and Industrial Designers to develop durable and stable products. From making improvements on our modular fixtures to developing a custom solution that enhances the appearance of your merchandise, our team is ready for your retail challenge. Learn more about our modular architecture here.
Manufactured at the highest quality, our metal components are fabricated to strict specifications and then put through a rigorous inspection process — all before finishing to your specification.
Opto's experienced engineering team can provide details and specifications required by municipal or state governments for retail construction, allowing retailers and fixture specifiers to move rapidly with their projects.
MANUFACTURING AND PRODUCTION
Patented and manufactured in the United States, our retail fixtures are designed for durability and sustainability. Designing and manufacturing our own product gives us the control—providing our clients value-added benefits such as cost-containment, quality control, flexibility, faster timelines, and no minimum purchase quantities.
We don’t outsource. We don’t offshore. We manufacture locally.
We design, build, assemble, and ship all products from our new 140,000 square foot facility in Wood Dale, Illinois. Our facility has provided more space to enhance our wood and metal shops, and install a state-of-the-art powdercoat paint line, streamlining our processes to provide our clients with better lead times and value.
From single fixtures to multi-store rollouts, domestic installs to international shipments, Opto continues to rise to the challenges of the evolving retail industry.
SUSTAINABILITY
We designed a modular product.
Our patented pin and channel system is designed to easily exchange panel materials for a new look with re-use of the existing metal components. Fixtures and displays designed during the early years of the Options Collection® are interchangeable with all recent fixture designs and developments.
We value a fixture’s lifespan and source materials responsibly.
We manufacture a fixture system that is high in quality and engineered to withstand the rigors of retail. Our ability to provide eco-friendly fixtures stems from sourcing environmentally sensitive, wisely farmed/manufactured or post-consumer recycled raw materials for back panels and counter components. At the end of the fixture lifespan, almost every material is recyclable – from the metal framework to shelves and coordinating accessories.
Support local resources and focus on reducing emissions.
Our manufacturing process is completed within a 50-mile radius of our facility in Wood Dale, Illinois, minimizing fossil fuels required for transportation. Opto continues to put forth strong efforts to reduce transit emissions, in turn reducing our carbon footprint.
We are committed to sustainability now and in the future.
Opto remains committed to producing Options Collection® Modular Displays with sustainability in mind. We choose to partner only with suppliers and vendors who operate along the same philosophies and guidelines. Opto is guided by the principle of continuous improvement of environmental performance. We continually review our operation processes to ensure they remain current and appropriate.
