A new industry trade show, Retail Interiors Expo, was held May 17 and 18 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center at O'Hare International Airport. It included several round table discussions where retailers and manufacturers could collaborate on the industry's toughest issues. Attendees were also invited to take a tour of the Magnificent Mile, Chicago's premier retail hub in the heart of the city.
Being tagged as "Simply a Better Event," this new expo promised to be a return to what the retail industry's trade shows used to be: a smaller, more intimate venue designed for top-tier retailers and manufacturers to form relationships.
