El Paso Chihuahuas at Southwest University Park
A Minor League Baseball franchise is no longer just a hobby or status symbol for its team owner. It’s a viable commodity with major revenue potential – and teams that brand merchandise locally can be every bit as successful as its major league affiliate. The El Paso Chihuahuas realized the profitability of retail by incorporating team store spaces into a new stadium that debuted in the spring of 2014. OPTO’s Classic Collection fit the bill for durability, flexibility and beauty, helping to promote and advance the team’s brand throughout the store, resulting in a record-breaking season for the Chihuahuas.
